Long before reindeer and rooftop landings, Belsnickel walked cold Pennsylvania nights with a switch in one hand and in our world — a slow-burn cigar in the other. Our original woodcut-style design pulls from 19th-century broadside prints, where the linework told the story and the smoke carried the warning.

Belsnickel Lore:
Long before “Merry & Bright,” there was Belsnickel — the fur-wrapped figure who tested who’d been good or bad. He was part menace, part myth, carrying the weight of winter and the truth of your deeds.
This design locks into that legend — a thick cigar gripped in his hand, smoke curling into a wreath, pine sprigs framing his silhouette.
Because some stories — like some cigars — are meant to burn slow and linger in the cold air.
